Trade ABM
A modular, scalable agent-based model of international trade in which heterogeneous
labourer agents across n countries and m sectors make labour, investment, and
consumption decisions that drive endogenous production, prices, trade flows, and
tariffs — extending Heckscher-Ohlin and New Trade Theory frameworks. The model is
empirically calibrated against EORA26 MRIO trade data (USA, China, Mexico) using
Nevergrad optimisation to match observed bilateral trade matrices.
